First-Year Admission Process

Application Process

1. Online Application: Fill out the PIHS Online Admission Form (available on our website) and pay the non-refundable application fee (if applicable).
2. Submit Required Documents: Upload scanned copies or submit hard copies to the Admissions Office.
3. Entrance Exam/Interview: Some programs may require a PIHS Entry Test or interview.
4. Merit List & Admission Offer: Selected candidates will receive an admission offer letter via email/post.
5. Fee Submission & Enrollment: Confirm your seat by paying the tuition fee before the deadline.

Admission Requirements

Advanced Placement & College Credits

PIHS recognizes advanced standing for eligible students:

• Students with A-Levels, IB, or equivalent may receive course exemptions.
• Transfer credits from recognized institutions evaluated case-by-case.
• Submit official transcripts & syllabi for credit assessment.
• Eligible Courses for Credit: Biology, Chemistry (for Pre-Medical programs), Mathematics, Physics (if applicable), English Composition (for international students).

Transfer Admissions

Whether transferring from another institution or between PIHS departments, we make the process straightforward to continue your healthcare education without interruption.

Types of Transfers Accepted

• Internal Transfers: Moving between PIHS departments (e.g., from BS Nursing to DPT) after completing the first year with minimum GPA requirements.
• External Transfers: Domestic and international university transfers with credit evaluation for courses completed elsewhere.

Transfer Application Process

1. Eligibility Check: Verify minimum GPA (2.5/4.0 for most programs) and good standing at current institution.
2. Submit Application: Complete online transfer application form and pay Rs. 2,000 application fee.
3. Provide Documentation: Official transcripts, course syllabi, character certificate, and PIHS equivalency form (for external transfers).
4. Department Review: Faculty evaluation of previous coursework, possible interview for competitive programs.
5. Receive Decision: Typically within 4-6 weeks of complete application.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

• What We Accept: Courses with B grade or better from accredited institutions, comparable to PIHS curriculum, up to 50% of degree requirements.
• How It Works: Submit official transcripts and syllabi; academic committee reviews equivalencies; receive a customized transfer credit report.
• Note: Clinical/practical courses may require competency testing.

Athletics Admissions Pathway

Recruitment Process

1. Submit Prospective Athlete Form online.
2. Academic Pre-Screen (minimum 2.7 GPA).
3. Skills Video Review (sport-specific drills).
